Made to go in the water

Bath foot, carbon feet for fresh, salt and chlorinated water, waterproof hydraulic knee and stainless steel tube. The knee, foot and tube of a beach or pool prosthesis come from the same line.

From space engineering to the leg prosthesis

METIZ founder Vladimir Ermalyuk worked from 1981 to 1990 at Energia, the Russian rocket and space corporation that built the Buran space shuttle. He then became technical director of a Russian-German manufacturer of prosthetic products. In 1999 he started METIZ.

The company has its own R&D, patented developments and ISO quality control. Metiz Brasil, in Sorocaba, brings this line to Brazilian prosthetists. Read the history.
